Cereal and seed processor Silvery Tweed Cereals has appointed food industry specialist Mark Jackson to the board of directors.
Mark joins Silvery Tweed in April as Sales Director, where he will be directly responsible for the day-to-day performance and ongoing development of the sales and NPD teams. He will also be tasked with strengthening and developing customer relationships, maintaining the partnership approach that enables Silvery Tweed to consistently meet customer needs.
With a background spanning the bakery, fresh produce, meat and seafood sectors, Mark has worked directly with all the major food retailers for a number of global blue chip manufacturers over his 30-year food industry career. Most recently, he has worked in the seafood and meat categories, supplying global manufacturing, wholesale and foodservice customers.

The company manufactures a variety of cereal products, ranging from the straightforward – flour, cereal flakes, grain and seed blends – to the unusual, with bespoke products such as puffed grains and granola clusters supplied to many of the UK’s top cereal and bakery brands.
