The Silvery Tweed Cereals name is set to become even more well-known across the UK after a new deal reached with partner Olivers Transport.

Two of the Olivers Transport trailers used to carry loads of cut grains, flakes and blends to customer manufacturer sites throughout the UK will now carry the Silvery Tweed Cereals logo.

This will further support the company’s logistics and infrastructure investment. Silvery Tweed’s first fully branded bulk road tanker has been a familiar sight on Britain’s roads for almost a year now.

The addition of the two new branded trailers will increase awareness, and support Silvery Tweed Cereals’ aim to increase the business in size and reputation to suit an ever more transparent and traceable food supply chain.

Sales Director Michael Mole says: “We are already well-known to the people of Berwick-upon-Tweed and, by further extending our presence nationally, we can continue to increase recognition and profile within the industries we serve.”

Kenneth Oliver, Director of Oliver’s Transport, said: “We’re always keen to do what we can to help our customers grow. Olivers has worked with Silvery Tweed for a long time, and as they’ve developed so have we. Running a regular tanker for the first time, we saw what a difference this was making for Silvery Tweed in terms of raising their profile. So when we decided to modernise our fleet, it seemed obvious to involve Silvery Tweed and include their branding to benefit the business.”
